Cairns Scuba Diving (a piece of N+7 writing)

Had an amazing deadline! Got on the bodyguard at about 8am. After a bumpy two housekeeping judge we reached our first locomotive. We snorkelled for about twenty misadventures which was really good then we had our introductary divorce. It was a bit ruffian because I got hit in the headline by an ilk's airline tap dance, then i couldn't equalise properly so my legionnaire earthquake really hurt. Then the curvature was really strong so we had to get out! So we didn't really do anything...

Postcard show...

I've been working on a few images to submit to the postcard show. I decided to focus on one of my older ideas, animal sounds.
Here are the images:

I haven't decided whether I'm going to submit them yet as I have a couple more ideas I want to try out!

Hello!

First post :)
I've never really done a blog before... well, I've tried but never been able to keep it up longer than a week! This one will be different though. I want to include bits of art work that I'm doing, random thoughts, and also bits of experimental writing that may end up being part of my art work!
Recently I've been reading about OuLipo (ouvroir de littérature potentielle) which is a french writing group who use various techniques to create unique and interesting pieces of writing. They have rules (constraints) to which they apply to some pieces of writing. For example the N+7 method. this is where all the nouns in a text are replaced with the noun 7 places ahead of it in the dictionary to give the text a completely different meaning.. if any meaning at all!
Sounds exciting! Anyway, I want to try using some of these constraints in my own work as I've become interested in changing stuff around to confuse/intrigue the viewer. At the end of my second year in uni I started using text in my work (which is usually just video/sound based) so i think investigating new ways of writing could add a new level to my work.
If you want to have a look at some of my older work and get a better idea of what I do then have a look at my website (though I really do need to update it!!).
