So, I've been doing a lot of thinking recently, and I still have no idea what I want to do, so I've decided to go to Australia for a year! I went last summer briefly and loved it there, so I'm going to get a working holiday visa and spend a year picking fruit, working in hostels and doing lots of other backpacker jobs inbetween traveling around and hopefully having lots of fun!
I'm hoping to get there by around March 2011, once I've saved up enough money. I've managed to get myself a job but a minimum wage job isn't going to earn me a lot... and now I'm a proper grown up I have to actually pay tax now! Pfft.
So yes, hopefully if all goes to plan I'll be heading to the land of Kangaroos, Vegemite and Neighbours next March!

OzIntro was fun, and although I suppose it depends on the group of people you get stuck with depends on how many of them are party animals, but to be honest you don't need to worry about it like I did - no one pressures you to do anything! I ended up doing the end-of-week pub crawl on three lemonades and had a ball anyway! And there are only 2 official nights out, i think, so it's not that bad :)
one thing I will say is probably avoid booking trips/tours with them as they charge commission and its been quite depressing going up the coast and seeing cheaper deals on whitsundays/fraser trips etc!
Anyway, hoping to update the blog with some pics now at least - I have let it slide big time recently! And yes, we stayed at JJ's in Hong Kong! We loved it there haha!
